Bush Dance Fund-raiser

A country BBQ dinner will be served from 6pm, and the from 7pm-10pm the Mucky Duck Bush Band will be leading us in a variety of bush and square dances - called by their professional leader. Drinks and additional snacks will be available for sale.

The Mucky-Duck Bush Band will be leading a 3-hour bush dance to raise desperately needed funds to help the displaced Karen spread over the Thai/Myanmar border.
Arrive at the St Patrick’s Hall from 6pm for a hearty BBQ, Soup & Stew dinner, before getting whipped into a bush dance frenzy by “the duck” who will be leading participants through a number of traditional bush dances. No dancing skill required (or shame!). Dancing will run from 7pm-10pm so come ready for a full night of complete fun!
Drinks & nibbles will be sold on the night, and a meat raffle held.
All funds go to the Karen Anglican Mission in the Border (KAMB) who provide humanitarian aid to the displaced Karen people, who have been forced to flee their native Myanmar due to the ethnic cleansing being perpetrated by the military junta after the 2021 coup.
