Friday Dance Party (with lesson)

Hey guys, we had such a great time at the last event so I wanted to post another!

Come join me on Friday for a night of dancing at Society Hill Dance Academy! If you've never danced before then make sure you get there by 7:45 for the lesson. It could be anything from Latin dances like salsa, bachata, merengue, chacha, tango, or maybe something like swing, foxtrot, hustle or waltz. I've tried to ask what lesson they're planning but the answer is always that it's up to the instructor that night, so we'll find out together! That said, they'll play music for all of those styles, or maybe just dance your own style!

Expect to pay 20 at the door, the lesson is included if you are on time. (also all their parties are BYOB, There usually is not food though)

There's usually no dress code, some come in athletic wear or street clothes but some like to dress up a little. So if you're feeling nervous then business casual would have you looking good without being overdressed.

Parking can be tough in this part of Philly, but there are usually a lot of cheap street parking spots going south of here along passyunk ave. There is also a parking garage on McKean that's only 10$ between 5pm and 9am the next day.

I'm capping this at 16 just because I don't want to try to keep track of more people than that.
