Science Coffee Hour: Space Travel

I was completely fascinated by the Artemis II mission for lunar flyby (https://www.nasa.gov/mission/artemis-ii/ ). I would like to discuss the status of space missions currently and what's on the horizon. Do you all feel like now is the best time to be conducting these missions, what is the science behind building a moon base, how long will humans live on the moon, and how soon will human be able to settle on Mars.

I understand that I am scheduling this meeting during the world cup so if there is too much going on at that time, then I might reschedule. I am also changing the location of this meeting to the South Plaza area in case downtown becomes chaotic. Please pay attention for any upcoming changes to this event.
