About us
Conversation Café is a welcoming social group for people who enjoy conversation, cultural exchange and would like to practice their English in a friendly environment. We meet in cozy cafes in central London on Friday evenings. Each event is hosted and structured: small groups, question "menus" to spark natural, meaningful conversation (all levels are welcome), and a different topic for each event.
This isn't a class, but a relaxed space to talk, listen, learn, share and connect with curiosity and respect.
Every event will start with a fun ice breaker, a friendly welcome and brief introduction
Small group conversations
gentle rotation every 10-15 minutes
a themed question "menu" to guide discussion
a professional English teacher (me!) to offer feedback (if requested), provide key language or to help help guide your conversation
themes are accessible and will give you an opportunity to share your ideas and stories.
