Join Moor to Explore for a wintery adventure on Dartmoor!

This hike is a fun, social way to enjoy the outdoors, meet like-minded people, and explore Dartmoor’s stunning tors.

To kick off the year, we’ve chosen a fairly short 5 km loop—perfect for easing back into hiking after the holidays.

Dogs are welcome, but please note there may be sections of the trail where they need to be kept on a lead due to livestock such as horses and sheep in the area.

* **Duration**: \~2 hours (with breaks)
* **Difficulty**: Medium (some muddy sections, manageable for most).

**What to Bring**:

* Waterproof boots & wet weather gear
* Warm layers, gloves, and a hat
* Water & snacks
* A change of socks (optional but recommended)
* **For Dog Owners**: Lead, waste bags, and water for your furry friend

**Additional Notes**:

* Some areas may be muddy with stream crossings due to the season.
* Dogs must be kept under control at all times, and leads will be required when passing livestock.
* If conditions are unsafe, we’ll adjust plans or reschedule.
