East Side Lake Overholser (Old Route 66 Bridge)

My plan is for the group to hike south 1.9 miles from the kayak rental parking lot just south of the old Route 66 Bridge to the Stinchcomb dam and then back north (about 1 hour and 10 minutes for faster walkers and 1.5 hours for slower walkers round trip).

Dogs are allowed.

The current forecast is for a 24% chance of rain. Please watch for updates as I may need to cancel due to weather.

I have a short-legged dog and do not expect to be able to make it all of the way to the dam. I will probably turn around after about 25 minutes.
