Tabor Dance!
Details
**This event is being cross-posted in other groups as well.
The season for a fun Portland thing is starting back up! Tabor Dance is a free volunteer run weekly outside dance party with live DJ's and held at different parks all summer. There's typically a huge range of people/ages that come out to enjoy and participate and move in whatever way they want. Sometimes there's a theme and you'll see costumes but typically everyone just wears WTH they want.
Bring a blanket or very low chair to sit on in the grass and layers since the weather can cool down once the sun goes down. If you feel like bringing picnic dinner/snacks that's fun too. This is a chill fun event.
This one is being held at Mt Tabor Park Amphitheater which is tucked down a hill close to the visitors center and parking lot. Parking can get hairy for these events so you may want to try and get a spot on a surrounding street on the backside. We'll go a little early to throw down a few blankets to grab us placeholder spots and then will post a picture of where I am so you can find me. Our plan is to be about halfway back from where the music is in front of one of the little rock walls. We'll also come up to the top of the steps coming down the amphitheater to try and watch for people.
