Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of illness worldwide — yet many of the most effective preventive strategies are still under-recognised. This session explores how we can move beyond simply adding years to life, and instead add life to those years: improving healthspan, vitality, and resilience as we age.
We will look at:
- The difference between feeling elderly and feeling welderly — well, energised, and engaged
- How lifestyle and awareness shape the heart’s long-term function
- The emerging science behind the Gut–Heart Axis and Gut–Brain Axis, and why digestive and emotional health are central to cardiovascular wellbeing
- Practical strategies and mind-body perspectives that support prevention at every stage of life
Speaker: Dr. Krishnakant Raiker, MD, MRCP, FACC, a senior cardiologist from Munster, USA
Moderator: Dr. Prashant Kakoday
All welcome. Free of charge.
