At a new stage of our events, we will increase the focus on helping you network with others so as to create an event where you can socialise and meet like minded Professionals & Entrepreneurs.
LEARNING, DISCUSSION & PITCHING
Our agenda will be
5.45pm - Network with Snacks and drinks (WeWork provide Cider/Beer on Tap as well as coffee/tea)
6.00pm - Shark Tank Style Panel - our panel members (judges) will discuss business topics such as - "How to start a business on the side", "What businesses are working at the moment?", "What business suits your skills"

DAVID SOUL - TECH STARTUP EXPERT
Founder of a range of tech startups such as eHealth Training, the first webinar-based education for Australian nurses, David was an early Atlassian employee.
Spending 4 years in Silicon Valley with top-tier US tech companies including Heroku and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, he helped them grow from $0 to $200M annual revenues in 3 years, David now runs Silicon.to which helps Aussie software developers to join US startups.
Screening StartUps has been part of David's prior role with Pollenizer so David is extremely qualified to give feedback to any pitch and idea.
STELLA UNPHONGPHAN - DIRECTOR OF SOGAL
My Co-Host has created her own startups and in the process of doing another couple of new startups working out of WeWork.
Stella almost went bust with her first business before selling it for 7 figures to a Hong Kong venture capital firm.
She has been Brand Ambassador for Lorna Jan, hosted TV shows for Tencent (largest tech company in Asia and owner of WeChat) and has created social media worthy of millions of view and coverage on CNN and BBC.
She is now director of SoGal in Sydey - the largest global platform for the education and empowerment of diverse entrepreneurs and investors with over 50 branches worldwide.
DICK LAM - myself
With 20 years of commercial and business experience, I have worked in over 15 industries in Strategy, M&A and commercial analysis.
My prior 'side gigs' include co-owner of a Celebrity restaurant, Sales & Pitch Trainer, Speaking coach for executives and now developing Online Training platforms for Asia, India and the Middle East.
Hosting over 100 events over the years, we're going to bring life to the traditional 'pitchfest'.
6.15pm - Pitches - we will host some pitches from aspiring startups and entrepreneurs. Our full roster will be a diverse list with varied backgrounds.
7.15pm - summary thoughts, Q&A and new insights to help you with your own progress.
7.30pm - Grace Hotel - after we finish some of us going to the nearby Grace Hotel for a drink and network.
After 7.30pm - we will go to the GRACE HOTEL to continue having drinks and maybe some food for some of us. Join us. This is the opportunity truly to meet new people and develop contacts.
