What we'll do:
This event will feature the following presentations:
Lightning talk #2: When Dashboards Aren’t Enough: What Python Reveals Beyond the Metrics
Speaker: Kriti Saxena
Description: Dashboards surface signals, but they rarely explain why those signals exist. This talk shares how Python unlocks behavioral patterns, drivers, and hidden mechanisms behind business metrics—revealing insights dashboards alone can’t capture.
Lightning talk #3: User Segmentation using Density-Based Clustering Techniques
Speaker: Nandita Krishnan
Description: K-means is a beloved clustering technique among most, and for good reason. However, not all data fit neatly into spherical, evenly sized clusters around centroids. This talk explores a density-based clustering technique called HDBSCAN that handles varying densities while identifying outliers in your data. Most importantly, we'll discuss key considerations when selecting a suitable clustering technique for your specific data and business needs.
Talk #1: Graphs Don’t Lie: Detecting Hidden Anomalies in Real-World Networks with Python
Speaker: Samridhi Vats
Description: TBD
