WHEN THE BODY SPEAKS:
From Trigger to Healing: Feel It. Meet It. Release It.
Sunday, September 20, 2026 • 7:00 PM Eastern
Online Zoom Meeting • FREE • All Are Welcome
Sometimes your mind understands the wound long before your body does.
You can know where your patterns came from.
You can understand your childhood.
You can recognize your triggers.
You can repeat every affirmation and tell yourself that you’re healed.
And yet something happens…
Someone says something.
Someone pulls away.
You feel rejected, abandoned, controlled, ignored, misunderstood, unsafe, unseen, or powerless—and suddenly your body reacts before your mind even has time to catch up.
That reaction is information.
A trigger isn’t simply a reason to blame someone else.
It can become a doorway into something within you that is still asking to be seen, felt, understood, and healed.
When the Body Speaks is an experiential two-hour gathering designed to help you begin moving beyond intellectual understanding and into embodied healing.
Together, we’ll explore:
• How to recognize what is actually being triggered
• How to look beneath the immediate reaction and identify the wound underneath it
• How childhood experiences can continue living in the body
• How to recognize where an emotion is physically located
• How to stop suppressing, bypassing, or intellectualizing what you’re feeling
• How to safely allow emotion to move through the body
• How to meet the younger part of yourself that may still be carrying the original wound
• How to begin reparenting yourself by giving that part of you what it needed then—and needs now
• How to distinguish between reacting from a wounded place and responding from your healed adult self
• How to create a repeatable process you can return to whenever a trigger appears
This isn’t about pretending you’re okay.
It isn’t about forcing yourself to “let it go.”
And it isn’t about using spirituality to rise above emotions that your body is still carrying.
Your body speaks for a reason.
The anger.
The grief.
The fear.
The tightness in your chest.
The knot in your stomach.
The tears that come out of nowhere.
The urge to run, fight, shut down, control, chase, please, or disappear.
There is information inside those reactions.
When we learn how to listen instead of immediately reacting, suppressing, or blaming, the trigger can become a doorway to deeper self-awareness and healing.
We’ll move through a guided experiential practice designed to help you connect with the emotion beneath the trigger, locate it in the body, meet the younger part of yourself connected to it, and begin allowing what has been held inside to move.
You won’t be asked to force a memory, share anything publicly, or disclose anything you’re not comfortable sharing.
You are in control of your own experience.
Come exactly as you are.
Bring your questions.
Bring your resistance.
Bring the emotions you’ve been trying to understand.
Bring the parts of yourself you may have been taught were too much, too sensitive, too angry, too needy, or too difficult.
Maybe your body has been trying to tell you something your mind has been trying to explain away.
Let’s listen.
