Full Moon Hike

we're having some trouble getting this rather glitchy website to post the correct address.

we are meeting at 300 Sugarloaf st, South Deerfield MA

i want to thank Theresa for organizing and leading this hearty winter hike in the early days of the new year.

we will meet at 4:00 PM, and walk up via the trail, arrive at the top of the hill at sunset, and admire the 360 degree view, with the sun setting in the west, and the moon rising in the east,

bring microspikes or YakTracks, and a thermos of cocoa or other hot drink. i like to add a pinch of clove, ginger, pepper, or cayenne to enhance the warming up qualities of my hot beverage. a flashlight is also recommended, and bring walking poles if you have them, it could be snowy or slippery. check the weather, and dress accordingly. bundle up!

the plan is to walk up via the trail, enjoy the view with our hot drinks, and walk back in moonlight and flashlight down the paved road.
