Feature parity across multiple platforms can drastically reduce the product Time To Market and guarantee a very consistent experience to the final user. In ProntoPro we are able to provide feature parity thanks to React and React Native. In this talk we explain how we managed to have one codebase for multiple platforms and what are the advantages and disadvantages of setting up and maintaining such architecture.

Circa un anno fa, con un incredibile opera di marketing, il team di Facebook ha tentato di rivoluzionare il modo di scrivere applicazioni React. Gli Hook dovevano essere l’alternativa “migliore” ai Class Components che in questi anni sono stati il fulcro sul quale si è basato l’intero ecosistema. E’ stata una mossa vincente? In questo talk cercheremo di analizzare insieme i pro e i contro al passaglio agli hooks e vi parlerò di quella che è stata la mia esperienza di un anno 100% Hooks.
