What shapes the way we see the world? We often think of “worldviews” as if they are perspectives we hold—belief systems, mental models, or lenses we consciously choose. But what if it’s also the other way around? What if our worldviews hold us—shaping what we can perceive, what we take for granted, and even what it means to be a “self” at all? In this conversation, we’ll explore worldview not as a fixed outlook or optional accessory, but as a living, entangled process: the co-arising of self, story, and perception within our cultural and ecological contexts.
This conversation will be free-form, which means it might meander into adjacent topics. No need to prepare or bring anything but your curiosity and an open mind.
