DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS TRAIL

We tried to find this trail last year and failed. We're going for a second shot!

Note: There is a parking lot at the trailhead but we're going to avoid it. Instead, let's meet at the parking lot at Bull Creek District Park and we'll walk on the road to the trailhead. Put Bull Creek District Park into Google Maps or use the code 9687+RHC in Google Maps.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FIRST-TIMERS
Welcome! We're glad you're joining us on this hike and hope to see you on many more in the future, but a couple of things to keep in mind.

  1. Please arrive about 5 minutes early for the hike. We do not wait more than a very few minutes for hikers to arrive.
  2. If you change your mind or can't make it, please change your RSVP.
  3. If you are an experienced hiker, this and all other trails in Central Texas are easy. However, if you are a novice hiker, you need to know that many trails are extremely rocky. There are often elevation changes of 50 to 150 feet.
We hike at a moderate pace of about 2.5 miles an hour in the woods and 3 on streets and sidewalks.
If you have problems with balance or need to walk slowly, this hike probably is not for you. However, we encourage you to join us for our regular city and neighborhood walks.
