Easy 5 mi. walk on the Spur Trail plus look for a geocache

We've been doing this hike on Superbowl Sunday for a few years now.

How about a relatively easy 5 mile out-and-back walk on the Spur trail with wide-open views? About 300 ft. of elevation gain. Burn some of those game-time calories? Once we intersect the Rail Trail we'll continue about 1/2 mi. south to search for a geocache.

Meet at 11 am at the trailhead which is located in the parking lot across the street from the bus stop at the Santa Fe Community College. Turn into the parking lot directly across the road from the bus stop. Check the map and the "how to find us" in the outing announcement.
A brisk walk will return us to the trailhead in about 2 1/2 hrs.
