Happy August, SecTalkers!

This month Glen is going to provide a walkthrough of not only how to solve the 2026 Cyber Achievement Hunt he designed for the TasICT/AISA Cyber Conference, but also take us through the process he took to design the challenges and strategy themselves.

We are also doing a changing of the guard here at SecTalks Hobart as Steph and Michael say goodbye this month as they move up to NSW. If you are interested in becoming a part of the SecTalks Hobart organising committee please do come along and put your hand up so we can do some handover at the end of our meetup this month.

You are welcome to bring a laptop however its not a requirement this month.

You can find us at Lower Mathers House, 108-110 Bathurst St, Hobart. Walk down the left side of the building, and enter through the glass door on the side of the lower level. There is plenty of parking available nearby, and a short well-lit walk to the bus interchange.

Pizza is kindly provided by our sponsor Continusec - thank you Adam!

Please feel free to forward this event to anyone in your circles who might be interested - all are welcome.

What is SecTalks
SecTalks meetups are about participating in IT security discussions, learning from others, and improving problem-solving skills. SecTalks offers an avenue where you can team up with like-minded people to participate in solving technical IT security challenges (i.e. Capture The Flag).
