What we’re about

Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area / Northern California Underwater Hockey group.

We currently have pick-up games every week:

  • Wednesday, 6PM-8PM: King Pool, San Francisco
  • Friday, 6PM-8PM: King Pool, San Francisco (kids game)
  • Sunday, 4PM-5:30PM: Fremont High School, Sunnyvale
  • Saturday, 10-11AM: Soquel High School, Santa Cruz

New players welcome! No experience necessary, so don't hesitate to try it out, and bring your friends too. Your first game is free.

This limited-contact sport typically involves 2 teams of 6, competing to move weighted puck across the bottom of a pool into the opposing team's goal.

Wearing snorkeling gear, players submerge briefly to move the puck or support their team.

Underwater hockey promotes safe play focusing on coordination, puck handling, teamwork, and fitness.

The US has over 50 clubs that play and compete regularly.

Just bring a suit and towel to the pool! If you have your own snorkeling gear and swim fins, that's a plus, however, we will provide everything if needed.

For SF / Sunnyvale practice only: Please email our coach, David, to be added to the WhatsApp group. It’s a great way to stay updated about our underwater hockey practice!
