Our First Gathering of 2026 – Making Friends and Learning Hebrew

Dear Attendees,

Last year I spent some time in Israel, where I had the opportunity to support the Israeli IDF and also work on improving my Hebrew. It was a very meaningful and unforgettable experience.

I’ve just returned to Melbourne and would love to reconnect and meet anyone who is interested in joining or learning more about my group. It would be great to see you all and share some stories from the journey! 😊

Therefore I invite you to our First Gathering in 2026 on 14 March 2026, at 1:00 PM, hosted at Café Rubix (519 Middleborough Rd, Box Hill North, VIC 3129). This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, explore the Hebrew language, and immerse us in Jewish culture. I can’t wait to see you there!

We can also discuss how often to meet, where to meet, and how we’d like to organise things.
Here’s what you can look forward to during our time together:

Agenda:

· Introduction to the Hebrew Alphabet: We’ll start with beginner-level Modern Hebrew, focusing on the alphabet and everyday conversations.

· Cultural Sharing Session: Dive into the fascinating traditions of Purim and other aspects of Hebrew culture.

· Food and Fellowship: Enjoy delicious food and relaxed conversation as we connect and share experiences.

This gathering is all about learning, friendship, and celebrating culture together. I hope you’re as excited as I am!
