It can be motivating to spend time writing alongside fellow creatives. Come see how that’s true for you at The Market in St. Joe, Michigan and join us for an hour of writing on Mondays at 6pm EST!

Be it a book, blog, screenplay, essay, dissertation, resume, song, poem, graphic novel, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write with us. No one needs to see what you’re writing or will offer unsolicited advice – it’s all about getting our words on the page!

SCHEDULE:

* 5:55 p.m. - Brief introductions & writing intentions (optional)
* 6:00 p.m. - Start writing
* 7:00 p.m. - End writing
* 7:01 p.m. - Chat, take off, or keep writing!

*What should I bring?*
Whatever you need to be able to write: paper, pens or pencils, laptop (extension cord may be helpful), etc. Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the occasional conversation by other patrons at The Market. (They didn't sign up to shut up.)

*Are there food and drink options available at The Market?*
Absolutely! The Market has a variety of food and beverage options. All St. Joe Community Taproom alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the taproom space. Feel free to check out [themarketsj.com](https://themarketsj.com/) for more info and hours.

*Where exactly do we meet?*
When entering from the front of The Market, go all the way to the back and head up the stairs next to the St. Joe Community Taproom. There you’ll find our super-secret, cozy writing space provided to us by the taproom. NOTE: When required for attendee accessibility, we may choose to relocate to the first floor.

*What if I’m going to be late?*
Not a problem, just show up and get settled. We’re always ready to make room for friendly latecomers.

*Will there be any socializing?*
Totally up to you! Chatting with fellow creatives can happen before or after the writing session.

* TRAVEL / PARKING: There is lots of free parking in downtown St. Joe. Be sure to check marked signs as some spaces are limited to 2 hours.

* ACCESSIBILITY: Because The Market is an accessible space, we are happy to relocate to the first floor as needed. Please let us know and we will make arrangements in advance.
