Simi Valley Social Meetup of Awesome!

The most welcoming Meetup group in Southern California. Dinners, happy hours, hikes, movie nights, and ocean cruises this group does a wide variety of social events within the city of Simi Valley and surrounding areas. We focus on smaller events so people are able to meet all or most people when they attend. The word "awesome" is In the name so the bar is already high. FAQ

1. Can I bring a friend? Yes, just add them to your RSVP when you sign up for an event.
2. Does it cost anything to participate? No, unless it specifically lists that in the event description, our events and membership are free. Donations are always appreciated as this is a volunteer-run group.
3. What is a no-show? A person who does not notify the organizers of their RSVP change. All you have to do is click not-going on your RSVP and that's it, it will take you 5 seconds. Failure to notify us of your RSVP change will result in removal from the group permanently. As of 9/12/25, we do not accept same-day RSVP cancellations for restaurant events, as it's really hard to fill spots for those and you were already accommodated. Same-day cancellations are subject to removal from the group permanently.
4. Is there an age range? Everyone from 21 and over is welcome and the average is 50-60 though there are pockets of attendees who are in their 30's and 40's.
5. What areas do you hold events? Our events are held in Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Thousand Oaks. Rarely do we go outside of those areas.
6. Is this a dating group? No.
