A lovely time of the year to enjoy the countryside .. and Hambleden is the best place to explore.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, we can visit “Old Luxters” which is the home of the award winning Chiltern Valley Wines.
The estate includes a vineyard, Winery, Brewery and liqueur making facilities. Also a cellar shop, for anyone wishing to purchase
There’s a lovely indoor and outdoor area to sit, to enjoy a coffee, cake or maybe a light lunch served from their vintage food truck.

This walk is also listed on my Meetup walking group "Walk & Explore"
Please join this group if you would like to see who else is going, and other exciting walks.

This walk is approx 6 miles

We can meet in the car park outside the Stag & Huntsman pub.
The car park behind the pub is now a paid car park, so it is best to find free parking in the village

At the end we can stop at the beautiful Stag & Huntsman pub, located in the village, for a coffee, relax and chat.

Hambleden is a picturesque Chiltern village, dating back to Anglo Saxon origin, in one of the most attractive valleys in the Chiltern Hills.
Hambleden has many charming brick and flint cottages, and was the home of William Henry Smith, founder of the book chain `W H Smith`.
This village has been the location for many films, including 'The Avengers', '101 Dalmations', `Chitty Chitty Bang Bang` and 'Sleepy Hollow'.

Thank you .. Kevin

A little bit about me:
I have lived in the Hambleden valley for many years, and lead walks for other Meetup groups, and also a member of the Ramblers Association.
None of my walks are copied from other walking groups, so hopefully you should see something new.
