Solana Beach Saunter - Design District to the beach or the San Elijo Lagoon

Let's take a walk in North County Coastal. We'll meet at the micro-park at the intersection of Rosa and South Cedros in Solana Beach's Design District. (Pictured above.) From there we'll cross the train tracks on the pedestrian bridge at Dahlia to reach the walkway on highway 101. We'll either head north towards San Elijo Lagoon or the beach and then loop back, or we'll walk south on the 101 and take the Del Mar Shores Stairway down to the beach for a walk on the sand. Expect to walk about 4 miles on pavement, beach sand, or dirt trails at the lagoon.
Optional coffee afterwards at one of several coffeehouses in the neighborhood, probably Madeleine French Cafe and Bakery.
