Curious about being a Trashion Fashion runway designer and not sure where to start? Trashion Fashion 101: The Runway Edition is a free open studio, demo and Q&A with Spencer DeSylva, the Trashion Icon. Learn runway design with recycled materials at this free Trashion Fashion workshop. This workshop is all about the runway experience that will take place at Sonoma Vet’s Hall on April 18th, 2026. You will also have access to get started with space, tools, supplies and recycled materials from the Trash wall (donated materials) or feel free to BYOT (Bring your own Trash!) You will be able to continue your project at Fiber Arts Happy Hour on Wednesdays from 4 -6 pm or scheduling an open studio time after the 101 workshop. Find your Trashion community, create and collaborate.

No experience necessary and recommended for adults and teens 13+.

Spencer has worn many Trashion hats from a social media manager to an Artist in Residence to becoming a mentor, teacher, and key member of the SCC Trashion Team. They turn trash into trashion, crap into couture, and garbage into glamour!
