Old Sarum

Join Gareth and me for walk of about six miles from the outskirts of Salisbury to Old Sarum and return to Salisbury. Parts of the historic site at Old Sarum are accessible without an English Heritage membership. There is one climb, but this is relatively gentle if approaching by the main entrance.
After spending time at the English Heritage site at Old Sarum there will be a lunch stop. There is a Harvester nearby or those who prefer can picnic at the site. We will walk back to the start point after lunch.
There is free on road parking at the start point- junction of Moberly Road and Donaldson Road Salisbury SP1 3BY.
