Spanish Hike & Chat 🌿 – All Levels! Join me for a relaxed Spanish-speaking hike where you can practise your Spanish in a real, natural setting — no classroom, no pressure. You don’t need to wait until you travel abroad to use your Spanish. This is your chance to start speaking now, build confidence, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors as the weather gets better ☀️

🗣 What we’ll do

• Walk a stunning, flat linear route (~11.4km / 7 miles)
• Break into small groups to chat in Spanish
• Get simple topic prompts if you’re not sure what to say
• I’ll be walking around supporting, encouraging, and helping you express yourself
• Short guided stops along the way where I’ll share insights about the locations (like a mini tour), with time for questions and interaction in Spanish
• 👉 The focus is simple: speak, try, and enjoy it

🥾 The plan We’ll follow a beautiful riverside route starting from Doncaster and ending in Conisbrough, including:

• Scenic, flat paths along the River Don
• Walking through the beautiful Sprotbrough Flash Nature Reserve
• Arriving at the impressive 12th-century Conisbrough Castle
• Heading to a nearby pub in Conisbrough for an optional group lunch
• Taking a quick, direct 12-minute train from Conisbrough back to Doncaster to finish the day!
• 🕒 Duration: ~2.5 hours of walking at a relaxed, conversational pace
• 👉 Total event time (including breaks and lunch): approx. 10:00 – 15:00

📍 Meeting point

• Doncaster Railway Station (Main Entrance)
• 🚆 Direct 30-minute train from Leeds (Making it incredibly easy for commuters!)
• 🚗 Excellent parking available at/near the station for those driving in
• 👉 We meet here at 10:00 AM sharp so everyone starts together

• Beginners, intermediate or even advanced learners
• Anyone who wants to practise speaking more
• Anyone up for meeting people and trying something different
• Your level doesn’t matter — everyone is welcome, and I’ll be there to support you throughout.

🍴 Optional: Post-walk pub lunch After exploring the castle, we’ll head to a nearby pub in Conisbrough for some food and drinks (optional). It’s a great chance to relax, keep chatting, and get to know each other a bit more before we catch the quick train back to Doncaster.
