Pace: 12 - 14 mph average
Terrain: 100% paved bike path and paved roads. Gradual climbing with a moderate climb between the two bike paths on the way to Cheney. Mostly downhill on the return route.
Regroup: As necessary. Scribner Road, Fish Lake Trailhead (Columbia Plateau Trailhead) and the Mason Jar in Cheney.
Route Description: From the Finch Arboretum, will make our way down through the neighborhood to the Fish Lake Trail. Then spin our way up the trail for approximately seven miles (railroad grade climb) to Scribner Road. At Scribner, we'll make our way up to Cheney Spokane road and turn left heading toward Cheney, About one half mile after joining the road, there is a moderate climb for about a half mile, then the road is fairly mellow until we get to South Myers Park road where we take the park road to the start of the Columbia Plateau Trailhead. Spin up the trail for about 5 miles and turn right and join the road heading to Cheney for about one mile until you reach the Mason Jar Coffee Shop. Route home by way of Andrus

Eat: Bring water and snacks. We will stop at the Mason Jar for drinks, snacks and conversation.
Bring: A bicycle in good working condition, a helmet and equipment to make minor bicycle repairs, i.e. flat tire.
