The Mamak Sprint: Tempe to Paramatta & Back

Craving some flaky roti canai, tasty chicken curry and grilled satay - washing it all down with a glass of teh tarik?
We’re hitting the cycleway for a dedicated "foodie" ride from the inner south all the way to the heart of Parramatta. This is a smooth, scenic out-and-back journey with a delicious reward at the halfway mark.
Route: We’ll depart from Tempe Station and jump straight onto the Cooks River Cycleway. We’ll follow the winding river paths all the way through to the Western Sydney hubs.
Destination: Brunch at Mamak Parramatta!
Return: We’ll retrace our tracks back through the parklands, enjoying the flat, paved paths of the Cooks River route all the way back to Tempe. Aiming to be back between 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Pace: Zone 2 (Steady, social 18–20 km/h)
Total Distance: Approximately 55–60km return
What to Bring
Bike Lock: Essential for peace of mind while we eat.
Essentials: Helmet, water, sunscreen, phone, money and your appetite for some yummy Malaysian food!
