Start-Up Lab UK

This educational group conducts experiments in micro-asset design. Each week, we'll build and grow a real business through a series of 60-minute experiments. It's run by Ed Cottam, an associate professor of entrepreneurship at Northumbria University.

The goal: To build a start-up we can validate and grow in less than an hour a week.

"This is a stupid experiment that's doomed to fail, right?"

Probably, but I guess we'll find out.

People who want to build a start-up they can easily run alongside their day job?
People who want to learn how to start a business, by actually doing it.
People who want to use their skills to build valuable assets.

A start-up webinar with a difference

This is not your usual networking webinar. Each week, we'll design an experiment that will run for the following 7 days. We hit go and review our results at the beginning of the following week.

You don't need to introduce yourself, ask questions or chat with the room. However, feel free to do so in the chat.

Who won't find this group useful

Businesses looking to find clients. I don't mind people selling their services, I just doubt you'll have much luck here.
People looking to network and chat. Whilst there is time for Q&A and feedback at the end, the session is primarily educational.
In short, there are far better networking groups than this one!
