What we’re about
Street Photography Social is a vibrant community united by a shared passion for capturing the dynamic and candid moments of urban life through photography.
Our primary goal is to create a fun and friendly environment where members can connect with like-minded individuals and be inspired to explore and expand their creative boundaries.
Remember, the key word in our group name is social! After each photo walk, we aim to conclude at a location where we can grab a coffee or a drink and share our experiences.
We welcome members of all abilities and backgrounds. Our group fosters a supportive environment for learning and creativity. While hosts and members attend events to enjoy the walk and share their insights, we also offer opportunities for creative and artistic guidance. Please note that a basic knowledge of how to use a camera is required, and technical support will be limited.
We regularly organize photo walks and workshops around London.
We're also working on a community zine called Lens Distortion, featuring the work of our members—if you'd like to contribute, you're more than welcome to!

Cost
The cost for this photo walk is £6, plus fees (Meetup adds a fee on top of the ticket price). Payments should be made through the Meetup platform. Please note that this event is non-refundable unless the organiser cancels it. Booking is required. The event is also advertised on Eventbrite and photwalk me.Recommendations
The focus of this walk will be on handheld street photography, so feel free to bring any camera or smartphone—just make sure your batteries are fully charged. Since we’ll be walking, please wear appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. It’s also a good idea to check the TFL website for travel updates before heading out.
Please stay with the group throughout the walk. If you happen to get separated, feel free to reach out to the organiser via the Meetup app or by phone.Bad Weather
If the weather is less than ideal, the walk will still go ahead in the rain, with some adjustments to the route to find shelter if possible. The event will only be cancelled by the organiser in case of severe weather conditions.

Chiswick offers a rich mix of scenic and urban photography opportunities.We'll also visit the local Sunday market, a lively spot full of colour, textures, and people — perfect for candid shots and street photography.
Whether you’re drawn to nature, or street scenes, Chiswick has a bit of everything — all wrapped in a relaxed, village-like atmosphere.
