3miles or 8-miles Oscar Scherer State Park Hike from Lake Osprey to Big Lake

Parking fee: $4. for 1 person and $5. for 2-8 people or State Pass.

Let's meet at the parking lot by Lake Osprey and the Nature Center at 9 am and head out soon after.
There are bathrooms at Lake Osprey.

I will have a Yellow Hard Hat on my car along with a Suncoast Outdoors Sign to find me.

We will be hiking at a relaxed pace, not too fast and not to slow staying together.
Most of this hike is shaded as we hike next to South Creek down to the Ranger Station and back for the 1st 3-miles and
For those that want to continue for another 5-6-miles hike, we will head up to the BIG LAKE and BEYOND.

What to bring: 3 liters of water, walking stick, whistle, a snack or lunch and bug off.

There is bathroom at Lake Osprey.
