Date: Sunday 8th February 26 at 6:30am.
Starting Point: Kurilpa Point Park (GOMA)
Parking: Street parking is readily available along Montague Road or on Riverside Drive via Jane Street.
Distance: Approx. 45 kms return.
Time: Allow 3 1/2 hours for the ride and the coffee break.
Speed: 20 to 22 kmh. We will adjust the speed to suit the group.
Terrain: Bike paths and back roads.
Route Overview:
We'll begin our ride at Kurilpa Point Park, cycling through Southbank and crossing the Goodwill, Kangaroo Point, and Story Bridges. From there, we’ll continue through New Farm, Hamilton, and Eagle Farm, following Sugarmill Road to DFO for a well-earned coffee break. After the stop, we’ll rejoin the Northern Gateway Bikeway, heading toward Kalinga Park Clayfield and connect with the Northern Bikeway, passing through Roma Street Parklands and finally crossing the Kurilpa Bridge to return to our starting point.
