What we’re about
A social group for lesbians and the sapphically inclined in the SWAN area of Virginia (Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta county, & Nearby).
Amy & Cynthia will host at least one gathering per month, such as a meal at a restaurant, a potluck, a picnic, a wine tasting, a music bingo night, etc., and we encourage members to also use the group to host gatherings based on their own interests. Pick a day, time, place, and activity, send it to Amy, and she'll post it for you (or make you an event organizer so you can post it yourself!)
Women only. Ages 21 and up are welcome, but the group organizers are in their 50's, so events may skew to that demographic. Membership is free.

See all- Waynesboro Pride 2025! (aka PRISM Waynesboro)Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building, Waynesboro, VA
This is more of a "mark your calendars" than a meetup event, although we'd be happy to meet up with other members. If anyone RSVPs, we'll coordinate a meetup.
Waynesboro is holding its second annual Pride celebration on Saturday 9/27 from 12-4pm. Last year it was in the parking lot across from the Wayne Theater, and I'm guessing it'll be there this year, but stay tuned to these pages for more info: About Prism on the Visit Waynesboro site and on Facebook.
This event is much smaller than Staunton Pride, which is 10/11, but we're proud of Waynesboro for showing their support :-)
- Staunton Pride 2025Gypsy Hill Park, Staunton, VA
This is more of a "save the date" than an actual Meetup event, although we're happy to meet up with members who are planning to attend. Cynthia and I will probably sit at the table for UUFW (Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Waynesboro) for some portion of the day but will be free otherwise.
For more info, see the Staunton Pride web site.
I'm not sure where Meetup thinks Gypsy Hill Park is, so if you're not familiar with Staunton, put the park name into your GPS and look up parking options! The Pride event is usually held in front of the bandstand.
