SWAN Sapphic Connection

This group is up to 40 members, but we still haven't met many of you, so I wanted to host an event that would hopefully encourage more of you to come out and say hi! Once we've met you in person, you'll be welcome to come to events we hold at our house.

For this new member "meet and greet," I've picked a location that's pretty easy to find and requires no purchases, to hopefully make the event as accessible as possible. You can either bring your own food or eat before or after. We'll supply some drinks (sodas, sparkling water, maybe iced tea, etc.), but feel free to bring your own drinks as well!

We'll also bring a few party games that can serve as "icebreakers" and "getting to know you" opportunities. But you won't be required to play if you'd rather not :-)

LOCATION: I've reserved the River Shelter at Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. Put this address into your GPS: 700 S. Magnolia Ave.

The River Shelter (pictured above) is situated between the parking lot across from the pool and the parking lot closer to the main park area, near the river. It should be pretty easy to find us!

Please RSVP only if you've already attended at least one of our public events or are otherwise known to one of the hosts.

I'll send out the address to those who RSVP a day before the event, using Meetup's email distribution function.

We will provide plates, napkins, cutlery, serving utensils, sparkling water, sodas, and some beer or wine.
