This is a social group for anyone in Wollongong, Sydney and surrounding areas who enjoys small get-togethers and wants to meet new people.
We are a fun welcoming social group, we look forward to seeing you at meetups! We prefer to do events in small intimate groups of around 10-15 people, as it's more easier to talk and get to know everyone. So please join our waiting list, and we confirm numbers closer to the day.

True Blue Film Aussie Fanatics Monthly Movie Night: Disconnect Me (2023)
Central Chambers, 157 Crown St, Wollongong, AUThis month we are heading back to the very cool Junior Game Retro Arcade located in Central Chambers, Wollongong for our March meet! Because the arcade is such a busy spot on weekends, we’ll be meeting on Wednesday night again.
Disconnect Me is an eye-opening (and often hilarious) documentary where Alex disconnects from his smartphone for 30 days. It’s a social experiment that explores how addicted we’ve become to our devices. Watching this in a retro arcade—a place of "analog" fun—is serendipity.
This film is staring, written and directed by Alex Lykos, a friend of mine, witnessing his struggle in Australian industry is one of the reasons I have started this club.True Blue Aussie Film Fanatics is a Wollongong-based club supporting the Australian film industry. We are a super fun casual welcoming group and hope you will join us!
We generally meet on the third Friday of every month, although dates will vary depending on our monthly host's schedule. Each month, a different member volunteers to host, choose the film, and the venue.
