Step away from city life and camp out beneath the stars along the Turon River. Right on the edge of the historic gold mining town of Sofala, the Crossley Bridge campsite is a Crown Land free camp within a five-minute walk of the Sofala town centre. With plenty of flat space available for tents and caravans, this site is a local favourite for star gazing and exploration.
No bathroom facilities are available at the Crossley Bridge campsite but public toilets in Sofala are within easy walking distance.
Sofala has Australia Day activities and a fabulous pub. Great takeaways on the main road. All within an easy walk of the camp.
