Vinay Kolhatkar is an [author](https://www.amazon.com.au/stores/author/B0084MUKC4), [podcaster](https://www.youtube.com/@thesavvystreetshow178/videos), and the Chief Editor of *[The Savvy Street](http://www.thesavvystreet.com/)*, an international public intellectual e-zine, where he also pens [op-eds](https://www.thesavvystreet.com/author/vinay/). Vinay is a fierce advocate of free markets, free speech, and natural rights. His work also appears on *[Spectator Australia](https://www.spectator.com.au/author/vinay-kolhatkar/)*. He was the Libertarian Party endorsed candidate for the 2024 federal by-election for the seat of Cook, NSW, and also in May 2025 for the seat of Barton, NSW.
