Sophie Lloyd (https://www.linkedin.com/in/sophie-lloyd-83870027/) - Customer Experience Manager, The Customer Experience Company
Come along and hear and about the ins and outs of rapid prototyping in a live environment, specifically medical centres that can see ~800 patients per day. In the first phase of this project we did a considerable amount of customer and staff research to define the customer problem/ opportunity. In parallel we analysed the organisation's operational data to see where our insights correlated with missed opportunity by the organisation.
By measuring the impact the concept had we were able to see how desirable, feasible and viable they were. We'll talk about what we learnt and how we demonstrated to the organisation these concepts were worth the investment to implement on a real scale.
Sophie uses design thinking and creativity to come up with innovative, audience tailored solutions for complex problems. Sophie combines her analytical skills with passion for creating engaging customer and staff experiences. Sophie has been working with clients in healthcare, government and property, amongst others, for almost 10 years.

Adrian Wiggins (https://www.linkedin.com/in/adrianwiggins/) - Experience Design Director, Pollen
Australian cultural institutions – the galleries, libraries, archives and museums of our cities and towns – have amazing, rich and valuable collections that represent who we are as a community and a nation. How might we best connect audiences with those collections, and the knowledge of their curators and custodians? What are the user experience challenges in helping people discover, explore and engage with collections?
What is the role of customer-centred design in this process? Where does service design fit in? What about the new kinds of value that can be created and delivered in online channels and with digitised assets? What about social impact?
Over 20 years in digital Adrian has helped create new strategies, architectures, interfaces and user experiences for startups and storied brands, for businesses in most sectors of the economy, for cultural institutions of every kind: galleries, libraries, archives, museums and performing arts, social enterprises and not-for-profits, and for all levels of government.
