I started this daily gathering because I was tired of the limitations of working in Taipei’s cafés. For example, have you ever arrived at a popular café only to find every seat taken, or ended up stuck next to a loud group while trying to focus? It’s frustrating to feel isolated in a crowded room where no one shares your lifestyle.

So I chose Tea Bar. It is a very Foreigner-Friendly spot with incredibly kind staff and regulars.

• When: Daily | 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM+
• Where: Tea Bar (Near MRT Liuzhangli)
• Entry: Min Spend NT$200 drink.

• No More Café Struggles: We have plenty of space, so seating is guaranteed.

• Peace & Quiet (2nd Floor): A dedicated quiet zone for work and study, away from the bar noise.

A: Don't worry at all! Most of our guests (about 90%) come alone. We provide 50+ Icebreaker Cards with fun topics to help you. Plus, I (Yi) will personally introduce you to a friendly group—you'll be laughing in no time! 😊🤝

Q: I’m over 40 (or even 50+). Is this event for me?
A: Definitely! I don’t believe age matters. I am almost 37, and my partner is 40, but we have the energy of 20-year-olds! We often have guests in their 40s, 50s, and even "young-at-heart" grandpas. If you love stories, you fit right in! 🌟

Q: Do I really have to put my phone away for the "Digital Detox"?
A: Haha, no! You keep your phone. It’s just a vibe we love—we try to skip the scrolling and focus on real people. But if you need to take a photo or check a map, feel free! 📵

Q: How is this different from a Board Game event?
A: Board games are about "rules." Our event is about YOU. We use cards only as tools to help you share travel stories and life experiences. It’s about building real human connections. 🌏✨

Q: Is the "Night Walk" a guided tour?
A: No, it’s much more natural! It’s not a tour led by me. Instead, it’s a chance for you to team up with the new friends you just met. If a group wants to see Taipei 101 or eat at a night market after the event, you can just head out together! 🌙🚶‍♂️

Q: Is it a "party" vibe or a "talk" vibe?
A: It’s both! We start with a chill "Talk Vibe" (20:00-22:30) on the 1st floor for deep talk. After 22:30, the vibes shift to a "Party Vibe" when the singing area opens on the 2nd floor! 🎤✨

Q: Is the event safe for solo female attendees?
A: Very safe! We focus on mutual respect. I am always there, and the bar staff and I will help you immediately if you ever feel uncomfortable. Your safety is our top priority! 😊
