NEW DESTINATION SCRAMBLE™ CG 41.1 @ 18'ISH TO PBO
Details
RESCHEDULED RIDE FROM DECEMBER
CEDAR GROVE UMC (CG) IS A NEW STARTING POINT FOR TARWHEEL / SCRAMBLE RIDES! THE MINISTER IS OKAY WITH A ONCE A MONTH WEEKDAY RIDE FOR NOW. WE MUST PARK ON THE CEMETERY SIDE OF THE CHURCH SO WE DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THEIR FOOD BANK OPERATIONS.
New Weekday Scramble™ from CG to Pittsboro averaging 18'ish mph. Your choice to drive the pace or sit back and draft, just keep aware, safe and the group together. We'll stop at Al's Diner (no relation) Mile 28.1 for some caffeine, brunch and conversation. On the short return, feel free to take off and burn those calories for the last 5-7 miles.
No ride if raining or severe threat. All usual Tarwheels rules apply regarding waiver and behavior. If you have not recently looked over Tarwheels ride policies, please take a moment to consult:
http://tarwheels.net/wp/policies/
Make sure that you have filled out the waiver before attending this ride.
Guests are asked to fill out a waiver for each ride. Members need only do it once per calendar year.
