Reading Group: Approaching the Unconscious

For the first reading group event we will discuss Carl Jung’s essay, “Approaching the Unconscious”. It is the central essay of “Man and his Symbols”- Jung’s final book project before his death. In this essay, in plain straightforward language, Jung outlines some of the key insights from his simultaneously celebrated and controversial multi-decade career exploring the unconscious.
