What we’re about
This group is for everyone who likes intellectual discussion and the sharing of ideas and values. It covers a wide range of topics - art, history, philosophy, economics, science, culture, sexuality, beliefs - whatever people in the group are interested in talking about.
Each session starts with one member talking about a topic they are interested in. We then discuss that topic. The group encourages diversity of opinion with a relaxed atmosphere that allows people to express themselves openly without judgment or hostility.
Each session will have suggested books and web articles to read and videos to watch so that we can have a quality, informed discussion.

See all- Paradise Lost and SatanC/ de València, 209, Barcelona
This is the third in my series of talks on Satan. In this session will be looking at Paradise Lost by John Milton, a 17th Century poem in twelve parts. Paradise Lost is one of the most important works of English Literature but few people read it these days (it's difficult). It has been extremely influential on our modern image of Satan, and has inspired writers and artists such as Mary Shelly, William Blake, Jorge Luis Borges, John Keats and Iron Maiden.
Note this is a repeat of the event held on May 2, so if you attended that one no need to attend this one.
This session will be led by James.
Bring beer/wine/drinks/food/snacks/whatever if you want to.
