Brett Sixtysix is a multi-talented creative force whose work spans across various artistic disciplines, including filmmaking, photography, painting, and music. His bold and expressive creations often explore themes of identity, spirituality, mortality, and society, making his work both thought-provoking and visually striking.
As an award-winning filmmaker, Brett has directed and produced experimental films such as Dreams of Aqua Marine (2023), A Dull Roar, then Light (2022), and Intentionally Left Blank (2022), showcasing his ability to craft compelling narratives through unconventional storytelling. His photography and visual art are equally captivating, featuring rich symbolism and contrast, often incorporating striking imagery of masks, costumes and surreal landscapes.
Beyond his personal artistic endeavors, Brett is also a dedicated mentor and community leader. He is the founder and director of The Fitzroy Art Collective, a vibrant arts facility that provides a platform for emerging and established artists to collaborate and showcase their talents.
