What we’re about
Separation and divorce are a difficult time. It helps to talk to other people who are going through similar things. It is also a time when we can become alienated from people that we spent time with "as a couple". This group is for separated and/or divorced people only, and is a supportive and friendly way to meet new people who understand what you are going through, have a relaxed time amongst the stress, and to learn from each other.
The meetups are mixture of casual, relaxed, get togethers, as well as informative presentations to give you insights and tools to assist you to get through this difficult time as painlessly as possible. So please, join up and we'd love to see you at a meetup soon!

This is bucket list time. If you have not done this adventure before then this is a must do!
French Island, located in the middle of Western Port, is the largest coastal island in Victoria and is renown for having the world's densest and most disease-free population of koalas.
It is less than 70km from the heart of Melbourne.
70% of the island is a national park, with the remainder sparsely populated with approximately 120 residents. After disembarking the ferry we will walk past the small town and stop off at the General Store for a quick take away coffee. We will then keep walking a further 2 to 3 kms down the road.
On this walk we will see koalas and local birdlife including Purple Moorhen, Swamp Harriers and Cape Barren Geese. On our return we will stop at the General Store for lunch. The General store has a wide range of food. We will allow 1 hour to walk back to Tankerton Jetty ready for the Ferry.
In total we will cover approximately 11 to 12 kms in approximately 3 hours walking time. We will spend approximately 5 hours on French Island including lunch.
