Ideas for events in 2026

With the work of our hosts, we have organised a high volume of very diverse events to meet the interests and photography challenges of our members. There's usually a lot of work involved in putting these events together and I would like to thank all our hosts and members who have willingly volunteered their time to run these very successful and fun events.

Moving forward, I thought it might be an idea to draw event suggestions from our members as these events are organised for you to come along. Vin suggested having an event page to capture all your ideas and suggestions, and this page will be used as our resource for 2026 and beyond. Thanks Vin!

So if you have ideas for places to go, festivals, genre, hikes, sports, places to go for long weekends, photography challenges etc, please post them here from now till November 2026. No idea is a bad one, and there may be events we haven't done in a few years. We cannot promise we will use your ideas but it will be considered. Often there are things we need to consider and may not be able to do it.
