Join us for a hands-on workshop to consider the power of wonder, imagination, exploration, and play in your garden space. Whether you tend a home, school, or community garden, this class will help you build a safe and inviting space for children. Explore examples of whimsical hardscape and sensory engagement in youth-friendly gardens, and sketch your own garden design. Experience garden-based activities that spark curiosity and participation, build an inclusive learning community, inspire adventurous eaters, and foster environmental stewardship. This workshop is open to any and all educators, caregivers, and community members interested in gardening with children!
This class will be located at the Bell Community Garden (3871 Bell Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108) in their pavilion. There is free street parking all along Bell Avenue.

This year, for our annual Garlic Sale, Dig Annuals & Perennials will be joining us with plants for sale! We will have hardneck garlic, softneck garlic, shallots, and overwintering cover crop seed packets. We will also have supplies like row cover, hoops, and sod staples to extend your growing season. Dig will have perennials, shrubs, and trees. (This will include cherry trees!) A week before the sale, Dig will release the plant list, so stay tuned!
