Sacred Architecture and the Pilgrim's Journey - Nila Chambers
Ancient architects used psychological and special techniques to create sacred threshold spaces that not only elevated the energy of a place but also symbolically represented the inner journey each pilgrim must take on the path to enlightenment. We will look at examples from different ancient and modern religious traditions and see how the use of ordinary physical materials such as stone, wood and glass can be used to transport us into other realms.
Nila Chambers is a lifetime spiritual seeker, esoteric student and teacher who has established Steiner Schools, written informative books on intuition and led many successful groups in the study of esoteric meaning. She currently facilitates the Northern Beaches TS Group.
