Our March event is set now, and we are assembling a fantastic panel for it as I type these words. We are also working on some special guests, but we will confirm those closer to the date.
As usual we will have free drinks and food, plus Melbourne's best networking for startup founders, developers, business folk and anyone passionate about entrepreneurship.
Doubts to Dollars - Dealing with early uncertainty in startups
Everyone who has ever started a business knows what it feels like to have no idea what you are doing. Doubt sets in, and every decision you make is done with zero confidence that it will be the right one. As you get more experience, you realise that this is how everyone does it! Any successful founder will tell you that they all felt like a fraud at the start, before eventually coming out on top.
The format for the night will be a panel of four experienced founders talking about their early days - how they made decisions in a sea of uncertainty, and how they knew that persisting with their idea was the right choice.
