Miyakejima Dolphin Swim Island Getaway
Takeshiba Pier, 1-chōme-16-3 Kaigan, Minato City, Tokyo, JPA weekend island getaway to beautiful Miyakejima. Famous for its friendly, wild dolphins. Trip includes dolphin swimming tour and camping!!
YOU MUST SIGN UP ON THE OFFICIAL TRIP PAGE HERE BELOW TO JOIN:
Miyakejima and neighboring Mikurajima are part of the Izu islands chain that includes the well-known Niijima and others. Miyake and Mikura Islands are famous for being home to a large family of 200 Indo-Pacific Bottlenose dolphins. These dolphins are living in the wild, in their natural environment however they are very friendly and as such enjoy coming right up to swimmers and snorkelers and playing around them. This rare phenomenon allows us to experience the friendly dolphins up close and personal in their natural habitat! While swimming with the dolphins its possible that you will meet small family groups, mothers, young adults and even super cute babies! This is definitely a good trip for a waterproof camera!
We are taking the large passenger ferry over to the island. We have reserved rooms and can also hang out, relax, party and even sleep up on the top decks during the cruise. We will be camping in a beautiful, ocean front camp ground with good facilities. There are some great snorkelling spots only a short walk from the camp ground. The dolphin swim tour operations are strictly limited in regards to the number of people who can visit the dolphins each day to ensure the area is kept clean and the dolphins kept happy. As such we can only fit an absolute max of 20 people on this trip so please sign up as soon as you can if you are interested.

The island is famous for its sandy white beaches and turquoise waters which are ideal for surfing, snorkeling and swimming. The Niijima campground is very picturesque, located at the base of a small mountain and surrounded by green leafy trees only a short walk from the beach. The trip includes rental cycles so we can explore the island. Lots to see and do (free hot springs, hidden beaches and lots more) or just relax on the beach.
We will be taking the large passenger ferry to and from the island, departing Friday night and returning Monday evening around 18:00. The ferry ride itself is lots of fun as we can hang out on any of the multi-level decks to enjoy the views as well as having our own reserved spaces in rooms on board. Great night light views leaving Tokyo on Friday and then incredible ocean scenery while cruising back home through the islands on Monday.

Mt. Fuji Hike (Overnight at mountain hut)
Shinjuku Center Building, 1 Chome-25 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo, JPA two day / one night trip to climb the mighty Mt. Fuji and watch the sunrise from the summit of Japan's highest mountain!
PLEASE SIGN UP ON THE OFFICIAL TRIP PAGE. More information and booking details here!
This is a once in a lifetime experience! With the goal of watching the sunrise from the highest point in Japan, we will be hiking over two days and staying one night in a Mountain Hut near the summit.
The official climbing season for Mt Fuji lasts for only a few months, from July to early September. The trek to the summit is extremely popular and is completed annually by around 250,000 people! Reaching the summit of this incredible mountain leaves an unbeatable feeling of achievement and the spectacular views are well worth the hike. Our hike will be timed so that we will reach the summit before the sunrise, catching the first rays of sunlight from the highest point in Japan while the rest of the country sleeps!
There are several different trails to climb Mt. Fuji. On this trip, we will be taking the Fujinomiya trail starting at the 5th station. This is the highest 5th station starting point of all the Mt Fuji trails and as such the hike to the summit is the shortest of all the routes. It is considered an intermediate level course, and while there is no actual climbing required, there are some steep parts where you will need to use your hands. We will be taking the hike nice and easy to allow us to climatize to the altitude and reserve our energy.
Our hiking group will be split into smaller groups of 12 people with one guide per group.
