Footsteps into Poetry: A Topanga Canyon Haiku Walk
Details
Join us for a slow, mindful walk through Topanga Canyon, blending nature, meditation, and haiku writing.
We’ll begin with an easy walk through the canyon, pausing occasionally for short moments of stillness and walking meditation. As we move through shaded paths and open canyon views, you’ll be invited to observe the landscape with fresh eyes—sounds, textures, light, and movement.
Inspired by these moments, we’ll write haiku, a simple and accessible form of poetry that captures the essence of the present moment. No writing experience is necessary—this is about noticing, not performance.
We’ll continue walking and eventually return to our starting point, carrying a sense of calm, clarity, and creative connection.
