Grab your Santa costumes, It’s time for Detroit Santarchy! This is the most chaotic, hilarious, over-the-top holiday bar crawl of the season. Throw on your Santa suit, elf ears, reindeer onesie, or whatever festive madness you’ve got, and hit the town with us for a night of pure holiday mischief.

Expect big crowds, outrageous outfits, loud laughs, and the kind of night where you suddenly find yourself taking pictures with ten strangers dressed as off-brand Grinches. This is Detroit’s annual tradition of controlled holiday chaos, and it’s always a wild one.
We’ll start together, get our first drinks in, and then blend into the Santarchy flow as it moves from bar to bar. You can stay with the group, bounce around, or follow the crowd — the whole point is to just have fun and not take the night too seriously.

👗 Dress Code: Full holiday ridiculousness — Santa suits, elves, reindeer, candy canes, gingerbread, whatever. The louder and more festive, the better.
💸 Cost: $30 bus pass plus whatever you spend on drinks / snacks
🚗 Logistics: buses will be on a circuit so we don't have to walk or drive between bars

We did this last year and it was a BLAST. This was very much an over 40 crowd. Come ready to laugh, drink, wander, and make questionable holiday memories with a crowd that knows how to have a good time. 🎅🔥🍻

Greetings fellow SANTARCHISTS!! We finally have the satellite bus pickup locations for Dec. 20th 2025 secured! It’s first come, first serve. So, if you want to hitch a ride to our meetup spot at the Brooklyn Detroit. The buses will all pick up at 6:30pm at the following locations.

• Ferndale -J’s Penalty Box 22726 Woodward Ave. Ferndale, Mi
• Livonia-(two buses) K of C Hall 19801 Farmington Road Livonia, Mi
• Wyandotte – Joe’s Hamburgers 3041 Biddle Ave Wyandotte, Mi
• Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti – Tap Room 201 W. Michigan Ave. Ypsilanti, Mi.
• Plymouth- Post Bar- 8744 Penniman Ave. Plymouth, MI
• Roseville/Warren-Lumberyard Pub & Grub 26700 Schoenherr Rd Warren, Mi.

REMEMBER the bus number you rode in on so at the end of the night you can find it to get back to your city.
Once you get to the Brooklyn Detroit you can ride ANY bus to all the bars until 12:45-1am. All the buses will just loop to the participating bars until 12:45.-1am always returning to our hub (The Brooklyn-Detroit).
